Contract Teaching Positions

We have openings for experienced Spanish language instuctors who are passionate about sharing their knowledge of Spanish language, Latin-America and Latino culture. Qualified candidates have complete Spanish fluency, are highly independent, create a dynamic classroom environment, and have a minimum of 2 years experience teaching Spanish to beginner to intermediate-level adults in a classroom environment of a language institute.

Teachers draw on their prior experience to prepare appropriate material and homework, while relying on the Resource Center’s methodology, custom curriculum and class structure.

This is a part-time, independent contractor position. Teachers are compensated per 2-hour class. Classes are generally 10 weeks in duration, meeting for 2 hours/week. Class types include grammar, conversation, and speaking labs (which supplement core grammar classes). Classes meet evenings from 6:30-8:30pm and Saturdays between 9am-2pm. Class locations include our main office near Lake St and Minnehaha in Minneapolis, the Wilder Center near University and Lexington in St. Paul, and starting in April, 2011 the Jane Addams School for Democracy near Robert and George St. in West St. Paul.
