The Cuban revolution faces important challenges in 2011 as it implements major economic reforms and through an April Communist Party Congress works to identify a new generation of revolutionary leaders.
Gary Prevost, Professor of Political Science and Latin American Studies at the College of St. Benedict and St. John’s University and author of Cuba- A Different America and U.S.-Cuban Relations-A Critical History will lead a discussion on these important issues.
The program is sponsored by the Minnesota Cuba Committee, which for twenty years has educated Minnesotans on Cuba and worked to end the U. S. embargo.
